Chapter 14

Poor Winnie, she just wants to go to bed and everyone keeps talking to her and waking her up.
-Why do you think Tuck checks on her?  Why do you think Jesse checks on her?

  1. I think the Tucks check on her because they are sad and worried about what they did. I think Jesse checks on her because they are in a friend relationship.

  2. i think Tuck checked on her to continue to stress to Winnie that she CAN NOT tell the Tuck's secret. Jesse "checked on her" to suggest that winnie drink the everlasting life water and live forever with him... which i think is a terrible idea.

  4. Jesses just being selfish, because he wants someone new who he likes to also carry the burden of living forever. The Mae and Tuck just want her to feel at home.

  5. First of all i think Tuck checks on Winnie because he is in a way trying to trick winnie to continue to stay with the Tuck's and also just to show how a dad is because Winnie's dad left her a while ago and she has not experienced having a dad and tuck is trying to bring the experience to her. In another hand Jesse checks on Winnie because he is selfish like the CD or disc is at a pause and can not go on turning. Personaly i think if i were Jesse i would think it is wierd or not fair that someone gets to continue life and he is watching Winnie grow up so he wants to trick Winnie to a hault.Probably also Jesse likes Winnie and for Winnie it is wierd to live with a stranger that likes you and the way the Tuck's are trying to make winnie feel at home is relly creapy.Have a great month of December!
